James Street West development

Because the site is in a Conservation Area there are two applications–one for conservation area consent (13/02575/CA) for the demolition of the existing building and one for planning permission for its replacement (13/02574/FUL).

Sainsbury's, Green Park

This is a much larger proposed development, including a new supermarket on the existing Homebase site. The full application can be found here: 13/00983/EFUL

Planning application decisions are made by either a planning officer under delegated powers or, less often, by the Council's Development Control Committee. It has already been confirmed that the Sainsbury's application will go to committee.
Contact details for members of the committee can be found here. Agendas are available here and the next meeting will be at 2.00 on 31 July at The Guildhall (although these applications are not on the agenda). All meetings are open to the public.

The contact details of B&NES councillors are available here.
